PEAS Farm 2012

This local farm is located on Duncan Drive up the Rattlesnake.  The produce from the garden goes to CSA shares which individuals can invest in for the season, or you can volunteer in exchange for a half share of food.  The children got to taste fresh veggies, including parsley, carrots, tomatoes (actually a fruit), and kale.  They explored an onion forest, fed scraps to the pigs, and saw a monster pumpkin.  Despite the smokey weather, parents were thrilled with this tour.
